Creating a thriving KickStart Breakfast club!

Pukekohe Intermediate, South Auckland, run a thriving KickStart Breakfast programme. Joining the programme at the start of 2016, every day their food hub is bursting with students sharing ideas & conversations, while having a nutritious bite to eat.

The Intermediate are blessed to have exceptional volunteers, Lindy & Llew (below), who not only share conversation and delicious kai with students but also provide music, recipes, board games and interesting books to encourage interaction and of offer variety.

Like many breakfast clubs across the motu, Pukekohe Intermediate's breakfast club receive additional support from the wider community. Franklin Attendance Services (FAS), the Community Police, Punchbowl (local Kiwifruit grower), a local Bakery and their wider school community frequently support with additional food donations.
